Lottie came to visit the studio to update her head shots and portfolio with some fresh new images.  In particular, she wanted to capture the lighter side of her personality.

It’s actually a really good point – many portfolio shots focus on capturing a more serious side of child models and actors.  There’s an element of those being lovely images (and don’t get me wrong, I also love them) but I think it’s also because it’s just quite fashionable for photographers at the moment and we’re the kind of folk who are always watching the latest trends and wanting to keep up with them. However, it’s never about the type of images that I want or love in the studio – it’s about what you need to keep your portfolio fresh, to suit your style and what’s going to be useful for you at castings moving forward.  So that’s where we focused – which is not to say that I didn’t love the finished images and working with Lottie to achieve them of course – I totally did!

You have two options when booking a model update photo shoot with me.  If you just need a quick session for some updated head shots, there is the simple shoot – one outfit, plain white backdrop and a mix of head shots and full length shots for £45 including three digital images.  If you’re looking for a fuller session to really expand your child’s portfolio then you can book the the full shoot which offers three outfit changes, three backdrops and a mix of head shots, full length and editorial style images – £95 including six digital images.
