Yes - it can happen. Sometimes babies are just too unsettled or ill, but I always do everything I can to soothe, pause, and work with you to get at least a touching “connection” shot.
Don’t worry - baby acne, peeling skin, and flakes are totally normal. I’ll edit gently so your newborn still looks soft, smooth, and natural in their photos.
If your baby won’t settle, I’ll pause, soothe, and try gentle changes in posing, timing, or environment. We’ll always prioritise comfort and connection over forced poses.
