It’s an understandable worry, but the short answer is no, that almost never happens.
In more than ten years of photographing newborns, there have only been a handful of times where a session simply couldn’t go ahead, and in those rare cases, it was usually due to a medical issue like colic, where your baby was truly uncomfortable.
That said, if for any reason your baby is unsettled and nothing we try is working, you should know that you’re always welcome to reschedule. Your newborn session isn’t a one-time-only opportunity, I can capture lovely images at any stage in your baby’s first year. While newborn photos are wonderful, if nature isn’t on our side that day, we can still create special memories at a later time.
