Getting the Laundry Done

A baby’s first birthday photoshoot is such a special milestone, capturing their personality and excitement as they celebrate their very first year. But if there’s one thing that makes these sessions even more fun, it’s the tub splash finale!

Rub-a-dub-dub, there’s a baby in the tub!  This little fella was finishing up his first birthday photo shoot with a good old clean up in my rustic tin tub and his mum had chosen one of my first (and still favourite) accessory sets – the Laundry set.  It’s a super cute little addition with the hanging baby vests in the background and it looks even better when we blast on the bubble machine!

After all the cake smashing fun, a warm, bubbly splash in the tub is the perfect way to clean up and capture even more adorable moments. Babies love the water, and their reactions—from big smiles to tiny splashes—make for some of the most joyful and natural photos of the whole session.

Why Include a Tub Splash?

• Keeps the fun going – While unfettered access to cake might be a new experience for a lot of baby, they do very often love being in water, and this so this can be a relaxing stage of the photo shoot that they can really enjoy.
