Chloe came to visit recently for a child model update and head shot session – she wanted to update her head shots and also to grab some new shots for her portfolio.
The full model shoot gives you the studio for an hour and up to three outfit changes and backdrop options. This means that we have time to create lots of new images for you in a mix of styles but in one fun, easy and cost effective session. Each session also includes six digital images so you can give a good selection to your agency representative to update your profile.
In the case of Chloe, we started with some simple head shots against a white background and added in some full and three quarter length shots for good measure. We usually start with a plain white background as these are the most frequently requested and keeping it simple really allows all of the attention to fall on your child’s face and their personality. We use this section of the shoot to get to know each other a bit and build their studio confidence and relationship with me before we move onto to try some different ideas.
We also did some head shots and seated shots with a classic fine art backdrop – the grey really shows of Chloe’s beautiful colouring and then we finished off with some classic portraiture in the dress that she said was her favourite. I have a wide range of backdrop colours and lighting options in the studio so we can create a wide variety of looks – that way, we’re sure to find something that suits your child’s personality and the type of work they are looking to get.
Child Model Updates & Head Shots
You have two options when booking a model update photo shoot with me. If you just need a quick session for some updated head shots, there is the simple shoot – one outfit, plain white backdrop and a mix of head shots and full length shots for £45 including three digital images. If you’re looking for a fuller session to really expand your child’s portfolio then you can book the the full shoot which offers three outfit changes, three backdrops and a mix of head shots, full length and editorial style images – £95 including six digital images.
