Flash is safe for newborns — it’s no harsher than natural daylight and doesn’t disturb babies during their portraits.
Is flash safe for my child’s eyes?
Yes — studio flash is safe for children’s eyes. I can adapt my lighting if your child is sensitive to make sure they’re comfortable.
What should my baby wear to their photo session?
Simple, comfortable outfits in neutral or pastel colours work best. Avoid bold logos or busy patterns, and bring 2–3 options such as a classic outfit, something fun, and a favourite sleepsuit. Bare feet and little toes always photograph beautifully.
Do we have to attend a sales or viewing session?
No — I don’t hold viewing or sales appointments. Your finished images are included in the session fee and will be sent to you digitally at print quality, ready for you to use however you like. No hard sell, no pressure — just simple, straightforward portraits.
Where is your studio located?
My photography studio is in Crawley Down, near East Grinstead, and it’s easy to reach from Horsham, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Tunbridge Wells, and the wider West Sussex and Surrey areas. There’s free parking right outside, making your visit simple and stress-free.
