This little girl came to visit with her family to celebrate her first birthday with a cake smash and tub splash photo shoot.
Her mum had styled her beautifully for her session with a really gorgeous combination of neutral shades – that’s such a popular colour scheme at the moment! She’d kept the backdrop neutral as well and just chosen my wooden hearts bunting to tie everything together. This bunting is something that I’ve actually had for ages but totally forgotten to add it to the list of options that you could choose from so no-one ever knew about it! It was only during my recent studio refurb that I took a proper inventory and rectified it and it’s quickly becoming a popular option.
We always have time for clean photos at the start of a cake smash and I have a range of one themed props that you can include. My ONE letters were the perfect choice although I won’t lie, they’re a tricky one to use as babies just love to knock them down! Still with a good amount of distraction, we always get the job done and it’s totally worth it when you see the finished images.
