Meet Bobby. Bobby is doing two very important jobs here. First, he’s my November cover star – the theme is fruit, so he’s representing oranges. Second, he’s introducing the milk bath option to the studio.
The milk bath is available to add into your session from around eight months, once baby can sit unsupported, and it also works really well as the tub splash element of a first birthday session. We’ve gone with oranges here for obvious reasons, but it works with all sorts of fruit and flowers depending on the look you’re after. It’s a fun way to capture baby as they play and interact rather than posed shots.
To request it, just select it from the prop and tub options on the form I send before your visit. You bring your own milk – you only need a splash, and alternatives like soy milk work just as well. If you’d like to add fruit, bring whatever you fancy, or you can pair the milk bath with any of my existing tub splash accessories.
