There are two things that I like about this baby photo – well three if you count Jack’s incredibly cheeky grin.
Firstly, I think it shows that you can’t really go wrong when it comes to baby photography if you just go for a plain white vest.
There’s always time for outfit changes at a baby photo shoot but of course not all babies love the getting dressed process. One great way of getting around this and still getting different outfits and variety in your finished image gallery is to layer up before you come. That way it’s just a case of removing a layer as we move through the photo shoot. In this case, we started the session with a jumper and trousers, took the jumper off and then the rest to end up with the plain vest. Each stage is then super easy and Jack stays happy. We also get to admire his super chunky thighs in the final section of the shoot and I’m sure you’ll agree, they are definitely worth admiring.
The second thing that I like about this photo is that I’m using my light wood backdrop. It’s not one of the most popular ones so I don’t get to have it out in the studio very often – there’s a lot of choose from and people do tend to gravitate to a certain selection of them. I like it as it offers a great background texture and it’s a little bit different.
Of course, they all pale into insignificance when compared with the cheeky grin thing but worth a mention nonetheless.
