Newborns are at their most comfortable when they’re warm, which is why I keep my studio at the perfect temperature for their session. Babies can’t regulate their body temperature as well as adults, and since many newborn photos are taken while they’re partially or fully unclothed, I make sure the room is heated to keep them cosy throughout.
A Calm and Quiet Space
My studio is designed to be a peaceful environment, free from distractions and unnecessary noise. It’s tucked away at the top of our garden where we have all the quiet and privacy we could dream of. This helps to keep your baby settled and relaxed, making it easier to capture those dreamy, sleepy poses. I also have a large and extremely comfy sofa for parents, so you can sit back and enjoy the experience of watching your images being created while I take care of everything.
Hygiene & Safety First
Your baby’s health and safety are my top priorities. Every item used in your session—from wraps and blankets to props and backdrops—is carefully checked and cleaned before and after each shoot. I also wash my hands frequently and use hand sanitiser throughout the session to ensure the highest hygiene standards.

Newborn Photography in East Grinstead
Newborn photo shoots are best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old—this is when they’re at their sleepiest and curliest, perfect for capturing those beautifully serene images. To ensure you don’t miss out, I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant—we’ll set a provisional date for a week after your due date and adjust if needed once your baby arrives.
Your session takes place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down, designed for your baby’s comfort. The shoot is relaxed, unrushed, and includes three digital images of your choice, all for £95. There’s no sales session—just a private online gallery where you can view and select your favourites at your own pace.
