Baby Club covers your baby’s first year across three sessions, each one timed to a different stage of development. A fourth session can be used any time during your baby’s second year, whenever you’re ready. Here’s what each one looks like.

Session one: around three to four months

At this age your baby is starting to hold their head up confidently, enjoy tummy time, and make proper eye contact. Smiles are happening, even if they’re still a little unpredictable. This session is calm, simple, and gentle.

We focus on big eyes and new expressions, tummy time if your baby is happy doing it, close-up details of hands and feet, and family or sibling shots if you’d like them.

Sessions at this age tend to be shorter. Your baby’s attention span is still building, and that’s completely fine. We go at their pace, with plenty of time for cuddles in between.

Session two: around eight months

This is often the most lively session of the three. Babies at this stage are usually sitting up, some are starting to crawl, and most are absolutely full of personality. Peek-a-boo with the camera is a firm favourite.

We capture sitting and supported poses, big grins and giggles, close-ups of chubby hands and toes, and a few more styled setups if you’d like them.

Babies at this age are happy to sit and play for a little while, which gives us a nice amount of time to work through different setups with simple props and textures.

Session three: around twelve months

This one marks your baby’s first birthday and the end of their first year of Baby Club. Some families keep it classic, others add a cake smash and a tub splash for a more celebratory finish – both work really well at this age.

We capture standing, cruising, or those brilliant wobbly first steps, natural portraits to mark the milestone, family or sibling shots if you’d like them, and an optional cake smash or tub splash as an upgrade.

One-year-olds are wonderfully unpredictable, so I let them lead the way. Whether they want to play, explore, or dive face-first into cake, we work with whatever they give us.

Session four: your baby’s second year

Your fourth session can be used any time during your baby’s second year, whenever feels right. It’s a chance to mark another stage now that they’re properly on the move, developing their personality, and growing faster than ever.

A few things to know

You don’t need to bring anything unless you want to. I have outfits and props for every age, and if there’s something special you’d like to include I’m always happy to fit it in.

From each session you can choose either a free digital image or your favourite image as part of a triple aperture frame from your first three sessions. Your fourth session also includes a free digital image. There’s no pressure to purchase anything extra.

Your baby’s first two years go faster than you expect. These four sessions let you stop and mark each stage properly, and end up with images that actually reflect how much has changed.
