After a few months of having the studio closed, it’s a relief to be able to get back in there to work again – I’m pleased and excited to welcome all my lovely clients back for their portrait photography.
The time spent without having visitors certainly hasn’t been wasted though as I’ve invested heavily in the studio both inside and out to bring it back better than ever. The decking and landscaping have (finally) been completed, the studio has been scrubbed and painted both inside and out, there’s a brand new toilet / changing area and I’ve invested in some automation in the form of Alexa to carry out some of the vital work – like playing nursery rhymes and music when we need something to dance to. As a side note, Alexa also now controls all my lights and heating but it was mainly the nursery rhyme thing…
I’ve also invested in time training on some of the main tools I use for my job and I’m working on some exciting new digital event options as well as my usual fairy photography and other special occasion events which will be back a little later in the year.
So after all of this hard work behind the scenes, it’s a relief to be able to share it with you all. And visitors to the studio can also play hand sanitiser roulette with the craziest contactless sanitising machine – you never know whether you’ll get enough to just do your hands or enough to shower your whole body in. Adds an element of fun to the start of every visit!
In all seriousness, sanitiser games aside, I’ve put a lot of work into making sure that our risks are minimised at the studio and you can read my Covid policy below. If you have questions, then please get in touch and I’m always happy to help – I’m sure that working together is the way through this.
