‘Tis the season for proposals! There are likely to have been more than a few little boxes of sparkly jewellery under the Christmas tree in 2017 and then a few more when people have really romantic plans for Valentines Day! If you said ‘Yes’ recently then you’re probably already starting to look at making your wedding plans and wedding photography is normally one of the first things to be considered once you have your venue and date sorted. So, let me tell you a little bit about my wedding photography package and how we can work together to get you exactly the pictures you want as memories of your big day.
Despite the fact that one of the first things that most people say to me is that they don’t like having their photos taken, I believe that wedding photography can be a relaxed and fun addition to your day. I’ve been a wedding photographer for more than 15 years so I have a lots of experience of working to your day’s timetable to blend your photography seamlessly into your celebrations. My aim is to ensure that there is the minimum amount of time devoted solely to taking group photos (which I know is not everyone’s favourite part of the day!) and the maximum amount of fun and enjoyment of your day to be had by both you and your wedding guests.
This approach allows me to blend natural, unposed reportage wedding photography along with capturing the key moments of your day in order to be able to tell your wedding story in your finished image gallery. I don’t think that relying solely on candid photos without a little bit of intervention really does your wedding day justice so we do make time for some posed shots but just in case that makes you want to run screaming for the hills, let me make a promise to you. They will be relaxed, unforced and natural images that capture you two as a couple and not even a little bit scary!
