Violet Rose has been a baby photography club superstar at each of her sessions – I always look forward to seeing her smiley little face so it’s a little bit sad that we’ve got to the end of our year together.
Still, I console myself with the fact that we finished in beautiful style with this gorgeous lilac themed cake smash and tub splash photo shoot. She certainly didn’t need much encouragement to get involved with her cake – that’s actually quite unusual as a lot of babies aren’t a fan of getting messy or even eating the cake sometimes. Still, no such problems here – especially when I gave Violet one of my miniature wooden spoons to dig into her birthday cake with. I have a stack of them at the studio as they’re a brilliant help in getting little ones interacting with their food if they’re a little shy of getting their hands stuck in.
Cake Smash & Tub Splash Photo Shoots
A cake smash and tub splash photo shoot is the perfect way to celebrate and commemorate that extra special first birthday. We start with a clean shoot and mum, dad and siblings are welcome to get involved here as well for family pictures if you’d like to. Then it’s time to get out the cake for some smashing fun! After that, it’s time to fill your choice of tub with warm and bubbly water for more great pictures and a good old icing removal clean up. Each session includes your three favourite digital images (chosen from your online gallery, there’s no sales session) and costs £95.
