In a newborn session, we mainly focus on capturing your newborn at their glorious best – fast asleep and super cute.

For the majority of the time, they will be snug as a bug on my giant beanbag, wrapped and snuggled or tucked up on their tummies.  Here I can gently move and pose them to create lots of different images for your finished gallery – it’s actually an incredibly versatile space for all of the simplicity. However, you’ll always have the option to include a prop and a digital backdrop from my collection if you’d like to – not everyone wants to and that’s fine too!   You select your options in advance so I can have everything set up and waiting for you at your session and, in the case of digital backdrops, so that I can create the appropriate shot to blend into the finished image.  The tiny truck digital backdrop is one of the most popular for little boys and it’s easy to see why – much as I’d wish to own it myself in real life, it’s just not possible for me to possess everything I desire – I desire a LOT and there would be no room left at the studio for that actual people.  So it’s a good way to add something different into your finished images and create the perfect art piece for your wall!
