For this year’s Father’s Day Portrait Sessions, I’ve built a set with a lot of character.
Old trunks, worn leather, vintage cameras, dried botanicals and a DAD sign in aged gold. Everything has a bit of weight and history to it. The feel is warm and rich rather than bright or airy, which suits portraits of dads and their children really well.
The set is kept deliberately simple so the focus stays on the people in front of it. There’s enough going on to make the images interesting, but nothing that pulls attention away from the connection between dad and child.
Sessions take place in the studio on Sunday 7th June in Crawley Down, West Sussex. Booking is open now and spaces are limited.
