September is always such a special time of year – new shoes, fresh uniforms, and those all-important first steps into the next chapter. This year’s Starting School photo shoots have now come to a close, and I couldn’t be happier with the little moments I was able to capture.
From cheeky grins behind classroom props to proud smiles in smart new jumpers, every child brought their own spark of personality to the session. It’s one of my favourite milestones to photograph, because it’s about so much more than “just” a picture in uniform – it’s a way of marking a huge transition and creating a keepsake you’ll look back on for years to come.
To all the families who booked in: thank you. It’s been such a joy meeting your children and helping you record this exciting moment. I wish every one of my new starters the very best as they begin their school journey – here’s to making friends, learning new things, and creating wonderful memories.
