Here’s a little tip if you’re bringing your baby girl to a photo shoot and planning on putting her in a dress, bring along a pair of knickers or a nappy cover with you!

Dresses, especially frilly ones, are perfect for little hands to grab and so they quite often get pulled up and moved around while we’re shooting. The resulting shots can actually be quite cute – as if your little girl is showing off her outfit – but not so much if you see the nappy underneath.  So a pair of knickers means that the shot is still great even if this happens.  The same applies if the dress is a little shorter – we can worry less about posing if there’s a cover on to hide up the nappy. All leaves us more time to focus on your baby’s expression and generally having fun!
