This is little Iris getting ready to celebrate her very first birthday with a smash the cake and splash in the tub birthday photo shoot.

She was a deeply happy little soul and so she was full of smiles for her ‘clean’ portrait shoot before we got messy with the cake and the bubbles, happy to show off her standing and crawling skills. So we started with a ‘clean’ shoot before we started to get messy with the cake and bubbles and she was a gorgeous little poser.  Then it was time to break out the cake which was a butterfly strewn blue beauty and, judging by Iris’ reaction, it tasted pretty good as well.   Finally time to clean up with a tin bath full of bubbles. The bunting that you can see in the background was brought along by mum as it has special significance, being made for their wedding from fabrics that all had significance to the family – old dresses, blankets etc.  What a gorgeous idea!  You’re always welcome to bring along your own items to personalise your session.

A cake smash and tub splash photo shoot is the perfect way to celebrate and commemorate that extra special first birthday.   We start with a clean shoot and mum, dad and siblings are welcome to get involved here as well for family pictures if you’d like to.  Then it’s time to get out the cake for some smashing fun!  After that, it’s time to fill your choice of tub with warm and bubbly water for more great pictures and a good old icing removal clean up.  Each session includes your three favourite digital images (chosen from your online gallery, there’s no sales session) and costs £95.
