a peach blanket in a moses basket with a sleeping wrapped newborn

When I use my Moses basket for photography, I make sure that is super comfy by stuffing it fully of blankets and pillows to create a really cosy little newborn nest.

The top blanket of course can be changed to match the colour scheme that you would like – in this case, the family requested girly shades of pink and peach and I was more than happy to oblige. My peach blanket and the matching wrap are quite new additions to my prop and accessory stash but I really love them.  They are a gentle feminine shade but offer something a little bit different to pastel pink. I find that they also suit more different skin tones so I’d definitely recommend considering them if you want something cute and girly, but a little off the beaten track.
