One of the Christmas sets for 2022 was based on Santa’s Workshop and I chose it because I could incorporate the same time of interactive element that had proved really popular (particularly with small people) in the Christmas kitchen the year before.
So there was plenty to look at and touch from a miniature tool set (for toy making purposes obviously) to baubles and teddy bears to hold with hot chocolate for the older children. It worked beautifully and having that little bit of exploration in the set created natural fun photos as well as keeping my littlest visitors engaged and entertained.
The only problem is that I loved it a lot so I’m worried that I won’t find something else I adore as much to create for next year! Still that’s a problem for next month – for now, we can just admire the range of Santa’s helpers!
