There’s something timeless about a Christmas fireside – soft light, warm tones, wrapped presents and that feeling of everything slowing down just a little. My Festive Fireside set was designed to capture exactly that: a cosy, traditional Christmas scene that works beautifully for babies, toddlers, siblings and families.
This set proved to be wonderfully versatile. Younger children loved the gentle interactivity – holding parcels, sitting by the fire, exploring textures – while older children settled into natural, relaxed poses without things feeling too staged. It’s calm, familiar and comforting, which makes it especially good for children who prefer quieter setups.
As always, safety came first. Props were styled to look rich and layered, but sessions were carefully guided, with parents close by as needed and plenty of time built in so children never felt rushed or pressured. Festive Fireside was perfect for families who loved a classic Christmas look – one that feels warm, elegant and full of atmosphere, without being overly busy. These are the kinds of portraits that still feel right on the wall years later.
