At my Christmas events, families often come back year after year, sometimes without really thinking about it as a decision. It just becomes part of what they do. And when you look at those images side by side, you start to notice things.
Tiny hands that aren’t so tiny anymore. Baby curls grown out into something else entirely. A smile that’s gone from uncertain to completely at ease.

These aren’t planned milestones. They’re just what happens when photos become part of a family’s Christmas routine. You turn up, I take the pictures, and over time something genuinely interesting builds up.
What I find myself noticing across sessions is the stuff that doesn’t change as much as you’d expect. The way a child still sits in the same position. The look they give the camera. The comfort that comes from knowing exactly what’s about to happen.
If you’ve held off booking because your child isn’t little anymore, or because you feel like you’ve already got Christmas photos covered, it’s worth knowing that the in-between years photograph just as well. Often better.
