A family of four children poses dressed in 1920s outfits

Look I’m going to dive in and mention that the Christmas season is approaching us – pause to gasp and hate me for bringing it up – or at least the season where we start to think about what we are going to give people as gifts this year.

Family portraits are guaranteed to be well received – especially if you’re looking to please those special parents and grandparents.  It’s not as though you have to simply print and frame them either.  There are all sorts of personalised items that you can made from Christmas tree decorations through to blankets, bags and cushions – the sky really is the limit.  Or simply use part of your portrait session to create the perfect image for your Christmas cards to spread festive love to all of your friends and family.

This family wanted to do something a little bit different with part of their portrait session and channel a kind of 1920s vibe.  And the second smallest guy in the family decided that he wanted to take posing in his own direction as well!

If you’re planning to visit the studio in October, November or December and want to create something special in order to gift to others, then let me know and we’ll build it into your shoot.

Christmas Themed Photo Shoots 2022

If you want to go full on festive, then my specially themed Christmas sessions will be running 18-20 and 26-27 November – the calendar will open on October 1st and be warned, they sell out really fast so put a note in your diary if you’d like to book in.
