If you’ve visited the studio before, you might already know him. He’s cheerful. He’s unflappable. He’s starred in more photoshoots than most professional models.
He is, of course… the duck.
Over the years, this unlikely little character has become something of a studio legend. He’s appeared in milestone sessions, splash photos, and the occasional behind-the-scenes reel—usually with his slightly baffled, slightly smug expression that says “Yes, I belong here.”
And he does. Because Duck Week is officially on its way!
What is Duck Week?
Honestly? It started as a bit of fun. But like most of the best ideas, it’s grown a life of its own. Duck Week is a celebration of joy, silliness, and those adorable studio moments that can only happen when a giant yellow duck floats into the room.
There’ll be new content, new prop additions, a brand-new stop motion video (because of course), and plenty of chances to see Duck in action—alongside the real stars of the show: your brilliant little ones.
Why the Duck?
I believe studio sessions should feel warm, relaxed, and just a little bit magical. And sometimes, that magic arrives in the form of a slightly scuffed rubber duck who’s somehow got more personality than any of us.
He’s a conversation starter, a familiar face, and a comforting constant—especially for toddlers who aren’t quite sure what to make of a photoshoot. Plus, he’s highly photogenic. (Don’t tell the babies.)
