One of my greatest joys in the studio is a dog photography session.  Look I love all my clients but honestly, I just can’t resist the chance to meet (and pet) a new dog!

This guy had me swooning as soon as he arrived – he’s just a baby still but you can tell he’s gonna be a big fella.  Even though he’s just a puppy, he was amazingly well behaved at his session. Of course it’s great if your dog has a lot of tricks that you’d like to showcase and capture at your session but generally as long as they will cooperate with sit and lie down, we’re good to go.  He did have a bit of a tendency to get excited and wander off but hey, he’s just a baby.  A combination of working quite fast before he got bored, a little bit of patience and a lot of cheese got the job done.

I couldn’t possibly pick a favourite to share from his session so there’s three, including a historical portrait which I threw in there just for fun and also because I feel he’s the kind of guy that deserves it!
