The To the Moon backdrop is one of the more whimsical options in the digital backdrop collection, and it’s proved to be a popular one. A sleeping baby in a bunny suit, curled up on a crescent moon in the clouds. It works.

Most of the digital backdrops I offer are props and set-ups that simply don’t fit in the studio, but could theoretically exist in real life. This one is a little different. It’s purely fantasy, along with the hot air balloon option, and it’s there for families who want something a bit more imaginative in their gallery.

The composite is created during the edit. You choose your backdrop from the range before your session, we photograph your baby on the beanbag to create the base image, and the two are combined afterwards. Not everyone wants a digital backdrop and that’s absolutely fine, but if the moon appeals, it’s there for you.

Newborn Photography in East Grinstead

Newborn photo shoots are best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old. This is when they’re at their sleepiest and curliest, perfect for capturing those beautifully calm and natural images. I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant so we can set a provisional date and adjust once your baby arrives.

Your session takes place in my warm, cosy studio in Crawley Down, designed with your baby’s comfort in mind. Sessions are relaxed and unrushed, and include three digital images of your choice for £95. There’s no sales session, just a private online gallery where you can view and choose your favourites in your own time.
