a sleeping newborn smiles wrapped in a cream blanket

You don’t have to bring along any items to include in your photo shoots but I always thinks it is a nice idea as they will make your photos really unique to you.

Knitted items, special blankets and toys are always popular choices and look great in your finished images, along with providing a memory of those items that were special to your little one in those early years.  One idea that is really popular is to bring along the same item to all three of your baby photography club sessions (and to your newborn shoot if you have one).  It’s a really visual way of seeing how your baby grew and changed alongside them in their first year.  It also makes for a great choice when it comes to your Joey Club frame images – it really ties the frame together to have that consistency between the three photos that you include.

Ideas that people have brought in the past are

  • Sports team colours
  • Sporting equipment
  • Favourite or first toys
  • Anything personalised – toys or blankets
  • Decor from their nursery

Newborn Photography in East Grinstead

Newborn photo shoots are best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old—this is when they’re at their sleepiest and curliest, perfect for capturing those beautifully serene images. To ensure you don’t miss out, I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant—we’ll set a provisional date for a week after your due date and adjust if needed once your baby arrives.

Your session takes place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down, designed for your baby’s comfort. The shoot is relaxed, unrushed, and includes three digital images of your choice, all for £95. There’s no sales session—just a private online gallery where you can view and select your favourites at your own pace.
