Some families come to my Christmas events once. Others… turn it into a full-blown annual tradition.
This family are firmly in the second category – and honestly, I adore them for it. Every year they come back, fully committing to the festive chaos. Matching outfits. Costumes. Pyjamas. Elf hats. Reindeer onesies. Big smiles. Big laughs. Zero embarrassment. Just pure Christmas joy.
Watching their gallery grow year by year is one of my favourite parts of running Christmas events. These sessions aren’t just about one “nice photo for this year” – they become a visual record of a family as it changes and grows, wrapped up in the same cosy, festive thread.
The magic isn’t just the set (although the sets are pretty great). It’s the familiarity, the comfort, and the confidence that comes from knowing exactly what to expect – a relaxed studio, plenty of guidance, and space to be yourselves.
