My rose swing digital backdrop is one of the most requested at newborn sessions and it’s easy to see why.
Lola was three weeks old at her session, which is a little older than I’d normally recommend for newborn photography. But she was born a few weeks early, so in practice she was still extremely sleepy and happy to doze while I moved and posed her. When your baby arrives prematurely, we can often allow a little longer before they get too wakeful for newborn photos. Conversely, if your baby is late, the window tends to be a little shorter before they become too alert to settle for posing.
When you book a newborn session, you’ll have the chance to choose a digital backdrop to include if you’d like one. They’re not the main focus of what I do, but they’re a fun way to add something a little different to your gallery.
