Why Bringing a Favourite Toy to a Baby Photo Shoot Really Matters

For babies and toddlers, familiar things feel safe.

Bringing along a favourite toy to a portrait session can make a huge difference.  It gives your little one something recognisable to hold, cuddle, and return to if things feel a bit unfamiliar. Often, it’s the toy they won’t go to sleep without, the one that travels everywhere with them.

But it’s not just about comfort.

These toys become part of childhood history. Years from now, you won’t just see your child in the photograph, you’ll see the teddy that went everywhere, the bunny with the chewed ears, the soft friend that meant the world at that moment in time.
