Two Shih Tzus, one session, and an armchair they both decided they owned. These two had a lot of personality between them and were very clear about how they felt about the whole thing.
Shih Tzus are good fun to photograph. The faces do a lot of the work. These two were a mix of cooperative and opinionated, which is pretty standard for the breed, and we got there in the end with a good combination of together shots and individual portraits.
Dogs always get time to settle into the studio before we start. It makes a noticeable difference to how quickly they relax, and relaxed dogs are easier to photograph. Treats help too. Always bring treats.
