Twins in the Studio – Born Together, Pose Together

Photographing twins at five months old is every bit as joyful as you’d imagine – and then some! At this age, babies are usually full of smiles, brimming with personality, and starting to interact more with the world (and each other).

It’s such a wonderful time to capture their connection, as well as their growing individuality.

Making Space for Two

Twins come with their own set of logistics, but I’ve got plenty of experience in making sure everything runs smoothly. The studio is set up with extra comfort and space in mind, and the session is always flexible – with time for cuddles, feeds, or just a little rest if needed.

I keep everything baby-led, so we move at their pace. Sometimes they love to lie side by side and giggle at each other. Other times, they’re happier taking turns as the star of the show. Either way, we make it work beautifully.

Personality by the Pair

At five months, so much personality starts to shine through, and I love capturing those little differences – a cheeky smile here, a curious glance there. Coordinated outfits or complementary props can really help tie the images together without making them too matchy-matchy.

This is a great stage to capture individual portraits as well as together shots – you’ll come away with a lovely variety that tells a full story of this moment in time.

Twins share something truly unique, and it’s always a privilege to witness it unfold in front of the camera. These sessions are about more than just cute photos (though there’s plenty of those!) – they’re about documenting a relationship that’s been there from the very beginning.
