Supporting Children's Mental Health Week

Children’s Mental Health Week runs from 9–15 February 2026, and this year’s theme is belonging – something that sits at the heart of how children feel safe, understood, and able to grow.

This year, I’m sponsoring a Children’s Mental Health Book Bundle through Place2Be, which will be donated directly to a local school. The bundle includes a carefully chosen range of books designed to help children understand their feelings, talk about worries, and develop healthy ways of coping — from early years right through to teenagers.

Books can be powerful things. They give children language when they don’t yet have the words, reassurance that they’re not alone in how they feel, and gentle ways to open conversations that might otherwise feel difficult. Having these resources available in schools means they can be reached at exactly the moments they’re needed most.

If you’d like to learn more about Children’s Mental Health Week or the work Place2Be does with schools and families, I’d really recommend taking a look at their website.
