There’s something so special about photographing older babies. They’re full of personality, have the best expressions, and are usually very pleased with themselves for being the centre of attention.
This little chap absolutely lit up the studio with his cheeky grin and soft little giggles. We kept things simple with a soft blue setup and a textured cream romper—no props needed when the star of the show is this cute!
If you’ve missed the newborn photography window, don’t worry—sessions like this are ideal once your baby is around 16 weeks or older. By then, they’re often more alert, responsive, and full of character. And honestly? That’s just as lovely to capture.
