Is it tacky to talk about money? Might be a bit I guess but you’re going to want to know so let’s put the niceties aside and get down to it…
When you come to visit, I want you to be totally relaxed and so I think it’s really important that you know what you’re paying for and what you might want to pay for in terms of additional images. It can be pretty stressful to attend a session if you’re worrying that there may be an expensive sting in the tail.
Firstly, this is a really important thing to know about me as a photographer as most photographers do have a ‘viewing procedure’ when you book a session. I don’t have a sales process with any of my photography – you’re never going to be invited back to the studio to view your images and get the hard sell. I hate that type of thing plus I probably wouldn’t be very good at it anyway so I don’t do it. Instead, you view your images online in your private gallery when they’re ready (usually a couple of weeks after your session) and you simply select what you want from there. With most sessions, you have a number of images included and so if you’re just taking those that’s fine. If you want to buy more, you do that online – a kind of ‘add to shopping basket’ thing that you’re going to be familiar with.
I am completely transparent about my pricing. I don’t offer free sessions with the hope of selling you up afterwards with a non-published price list. There are no secrets, either for the sessions or any additional prints or digitals that you might want. You can read the full price list by clicking on the button at the bottom of the article but the most commonly asked for price is for additional digital images…
- Single digital image – £15
- Pack of five digital images – £50
- All the digital images from your session – £195
