My wooden bowl is one of my  most popular newborn photography props but of course when you see it to choose from, you see it ‘naked’ so it can be hard to imagine how it can be customised to suit your colours or themes.

It really is an incredibly versatile prop as it can be used with any combination of accessories, flowers and backdrops to match in with the colour and themes of your photo shoot.  One of my favourite ways to style it is with mini pumpkins and autumn leaves it goes so well with the wood tones and I’ve even used it in pumpkin mini photo shoot events but it really looks great with most things (including mermaids!).  It’s not just for newborns either – it also works well with older babies.
