This mum came in for her little one’s four month Baby Club session with a Pinterest board full of ideas, which is always a good starting point. We worked through her list, mixed in a few of my own suggestions, and had a really good session.

She loves black and white, which suits this kind of image really well. Just so you know, all your images are delivered in colour, but if black and white is your thing, just ask and I’ll switch them over.

This particular shot is a classic. It looks great in a photo. In real life, the taller person has to essentially straddle and bend themselves into position while trying to look natural and relaxed about it. Nobody mentions this bit. They always do it anyway because the result is worth it.

If you’ve got ideas you’d like to try, bring them along. A Pinterest board, a screenshot, a rough description – it all helps and we’ll make it work.
