It goes without saying that the world would have been a better place without Covid-19 but I’m still always looking for a positive to come out of the last few months and baby Jaxon here illustrates my point beautifully.
As part of defining my Covid policy when I was getting ready to reopen the studio, it was clear that it would be a good idea to minimise the time that folk were spending in the studio. Obviously I don’t want to cut any photo shoots short but there was always a bit of time spent up front looking at backdrop and prop options and then me setting up. So I decided to create a system whereby you could browse and select everything you wanted so I could have it set up and ready for your arrival.
This has lead to a lot of hours sorting and photographing all the items I have available and creating pages and forms so you can take a look at them all and make decisions quickly and easily. In the process of this, I have curated my collection – got rid of stuff that had gone out of fashion and also rediscovered some hidden gems. This backdrop is one such example.
It’s actually made of canvas and so it’s a bit more difficult to store than the other ones that I have so I’ve been a bit guilty of letting it languish in a corner and not offering it to people. Now it’s back in rotation, I couldn’t be more happy as I can’t think of a more perfect backdrop to show off Jaxon’s eyes to full effect!
