When it comes to baby portraits, it’s often the little things that make the biggest difference. At my studio, I always encourage parents to bring along anything meaningful they’d love to include—from name blocks and soft toys to special blankets or family heirlooms.
In this session, Sophia’s parents brought along a beautiful set of pastel letter blocks spelling out her name. With just a little creative styling, we created a few different looks—using the blocks on their own, alongside Sophia, and even styling them into the set with bunting and flowers.
These sorts of details are what make your photos feel uniquely yours. They bring personality, meaning, and a lovely nod to your family story—whether it’s your baby’s name, a gift from a grandparent, or something you’ve saved just for this moment.
There’s no need to bring a whole suitcase (unless you want to!)—just one or two carefully chosen items can be more than enough to create something special.
