This big sister has been to visit the studio for events a few times in the past and so she knew what to expect from her photo shoot.
She picked out her best party dress especially for the occasion and she was ready to take on the role of big sister and show her little sister exactly how it was done. So we picked out my palest blue wrap especially to match the colours. When I’m working with siblings, even though this big sister was amazing at giving her baby sister the support that she needed, it is easier for them to pose and handle a newborn when they are wrapped up. That way, we avoid the newborn being all scrunched up in a ball and also it keeps them more settled when we’re moving them about to get the perfect pose.
