This little guy came in at a few days old for his newborn photos, following in the footsteps of his big sister a few years earlier.
He was a very content baby who seemed to be having extremely happy dreams about something.
When older siblings are involved, especially if they’re under three, I usually suggest they come along at the end of the session rather than the beginning. It’s a fairly boring place to sit while we’re getting a new baby settled and photographed, and by the time we’re ready for sibling shots they can be thoroughly done with the whole thing. Bringing them in fresh at the end works much better. That’s what we did here and it worked really well. By the time his big sister arrived we’d got everything we needed from the newborn part of the session, and she was ready and happy to be there.
