a newborn sleeping next to five scan photos from the ivf process

When a baby arrives after a long fertility journey, there’s something uniquely emotional about those first few days together. For parents who’ve been through IVF, that first cry, the soft weight of their baby in their arms, the very fact of being in the studio—it can all feel surreal.

Newborn photography is special for every family, but when you’ve hoped, waited, and willed your way to this moment, the significance deepens. These sessions are never just about beautiful pictures—they’re about honouring everything it took to get here.

Whether you’re still adjusting to the idea that your baby is finally here, or you’re filled with emotions you can’t quite put into words, your session will always be calm, gentle, and led entirely by your baby. There’s no pressure. Just time and space to soak in this incredible milestone.

You don’t need to explain anything—unless you want to. You’ll find no judgment in my studio, only kindness and care. Many of my clients have been on fertility journeys, and every single one of their stories is different. All are welcome. All are celebrated.

So if your path to parenthood has been long or winding, please know that I see you—and I would be honoured to help you capture this long-dreamed-of chapter.

Newborn Photography in East Grinstead

Newborn photo shoots are best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old—this is when they’re at their sleepiest and curliest, perfect for capturing those beautifully serene images. To ensure you don’t miss out, I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant—we’ll set a provisional date for a week after your due date and adjust if needed once your baby arrives.

Your session takes place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down, designed for your baby’s comfort. The shoot is relaxed, unrushed, and includes three digital images of your choice, all for £95. There’s no sales session—just a private online gallery where you can view and select your favourites at your own pace.
