My newborn birth announcement prop set is one of the most popular in the studio and it’s also one of the most flexible to work with.
It looks great either on the beanbag or with pretty much any of my props so you can use it to create a birth announcement image that suits your style. It is also the perfect way to create wall art for your nursery as well as just a happy memento of your new arrival.
When you book a newborn shoot, you’ll receive a form the day before so you can let me know the type of photos that you would like so I can prepare for your session. As part of my Covid policy, all of my props and accessories are stored away or underneath plastic to prevent any contamination so I get everything ready at the studio before you come – it minimises your time in the studio as well and allows me to make the most of your newborn’s naps when they happen. So if you’d like to add in the birth announcement to your session then all you have to do is pop the details on the form and I’ll have it all set up and ready to go for you when you arrive.
Newborn Photography
A newborn photo shoot is best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old as this is when they are at their maximum sleepiness and poseability to capture those dreamy shots. For this reason, I definitely recommend that you book when you are pregnant as this is one less thing to worry about scheduling when you’ve just got home from the hospital. We make an appointment for your due date plus 7 days and then adjust it as needed.
My newborn shoots include your three favourite digital images which you select from your online gallery a few weeks after your photo shoot – I don’t make you attend a sales or viewing session. Sessions take place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down and cost £95.
