It’s not unusual for parents to feel reluctant to get in front of the camera at a newborn session. I completely understand it. You’ve just been through something enormous and camera-ready is probably not how you’d describe yourself right now.
There’s never any pressure from me. If you’d rather sit this one out and join in at a later session, that’s absolutely fine.
That said, I will offer this: if you do get in front of the camera and you don’t love how you look, you never have to look at those images again. But there won’t be another time when your baby is this new and this small. My advice, for what it’s worth, is to give it a go. There’s really nothing to lose.
