My little pink chair is a popular addition to a newborn photo shoot and it’s a cute little item for sure!
It was actually designed to be a dog bed but as soon as I saw it my photographer’s brain thought it was the perfect size for little people as much as little dogs so I have two – one in pink and one in grey.
One of the good things about it, apart from the fact it looks great, is that’s it is versatile in terms of how I pose babies on it so I can adapt it to suit their preferred positions. I really like this in terms of my prop collection as not all babies like the same thing and when you find something that works for them, it’s great to be able to that with the prop selection.

Newborn photo shoots are best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old—this is when they’re at their sleepiest and curliest, perfect for capturing those beautifully serene images. To ensure you don’t miss out, I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant—we’ll set a provisional date for a week after your due date and adjust if needed once your baby arrives.
Your session takes place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down, designed for your baby’s comfort. The shoot is relaxed, unrushed, and includes three digital images of your choice, all for £95. There’s no sales session—just a private online gallery where you can view and select your favourites at your own pace.
