I’m so excited to bring back my Mermaid Photo Shoot Event this year, a special studio experience designed for children who love imagination, storytelling and a little bit of underwater magic.

Whether your child dreams of becoming a playful little mermaid or you’re looking for a breathtaking fantasy artwork to hang on your wall, this year’s event offers two beautiful mermaid experiences, each created with a slightly different kind of magic in mind.

Taking place in my West Sussex studio on Sunday July 12th, this event offers two different mermaid experiences, carefully designed for different ages and stages so every child can enjoy the session in a way that feels natural and fun for them.

The Little Mermaid Experience

A joyful studio adventure for younger children

Perfect for younger mermaids, this session is bright, fun and full of personality. Children can enjoy a relaxed studio photoshoot surrounded by an underwater-inspired set designed especially for smiles, giggles and imagination.

These sessions are ideal for children who love dressing up, storytelling and playful portraits.

Suitable for:

  • Children over two years old

  • Up to two siblings together

  • Little ones who enjoy colour, fun and a bit of sparkle

The focus here is simple: a relaxed experience where children can enjoy themselves while I capture natural expressions and magical moments.

Digital Mermaid Artwork

A cinematic fantasy portrait experience

For older children (over five years), the Digital Mermaid session creates something truly special.

Each portrait begins as a real studio photograph, then is carefully transformed by hand into a detailed underwater fantasy artwork. These are not templates or AI images. Every final piece is individually crafted to become a statement wall portrait designed to feel timeless and immersive.

The result is a piece of artwork that looks like it belongs in a storybook or film scene.

What’s Included

Each mini session includes:

  • A relaxed studio photoshoot

  • Use of studio mermaid styling pieces and accessories

  • All edited digital images included in the case of the Little Mermaid Experience and one finished art piece for the Digital Mermaid Experience.

  • A private online gallery to download and share your images

Sessions are short, simple and designed to be stress-free. Just arrive, enjoy the experience, and let the magic happen.

A Little Studio Magic

I design each themed event to feel like an experience rather than just a photoshoot. The mermaid set has been created especially for this event, bringing together soft underwater tones, texture and storytelling details to help children fully step into the moment.

These events are always limited in number to keep the day calm and enjoyable for everyone, so once booking opens, sessions tend to fill quickly.
