High key white maternity photography is a different look entirely from the dark, dramatic style, and it suits some people much better. Clean white backdrop, soft light, a flowing dress. It’s a quieter, more understated approach and it works particularly well in black and white.
Most maternity sessions mix at least two styles across the session. Dark and light, dressed and more minimal, classic and a little more playful. There’s time to do more than one thing, and having some variety in the gallery is usually something clients are glad of afterwards.
