One of my favourite things to include in baby photo sessions is something personal. A favourite toy, a well loved teddy, or a little comfort object that means something to them.
Not only does it help little ones feel relaxed, it also adds a wonderful layer of memory to the photograph. Years from now, these images are not just a portrait of a baby, but a reminder of the small things they loved at that age.
This little lion clearly holds a special place, and it made the perfect companion for today’s photo. There’s something very sweet about capturing that early friendship between a child and their favourite toy.
Life really is better with a buddy.
