A newborn and a greyhound

All of the family are welcome to join in the celebration of a new arrival at a newborn photo shoot – and that includes dogs!

I never mind welcoming a fur baby into a session although of course you will be the person who knows best as to the likelihood of them playing ball or not.  The family that brought this beautiful guy into the studio weren’t at all sure if he would pose with his new baby sister as he was quite a nervous fellow. However, after a time chilling out in the studio and plenty of dog treat related bribery, he settled beautifully and I was so glad to be able to capture this memory for them.

When we’re involving anyone other than an adult in photographs with a newborn – so human or fur sibling, there’s always a parent close at hand to make sure everything stays safe and relaxed while I take the photographs.  Safety first always…

Newborn Photography in East Grinstead

Newborn photo shoots are best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old—this is when they’re at their sleepiest and curliest, perfect for capturing those beautifully serene images. To ensure you don’t miss out, I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant—we’ll set a provisional date for a week after your due date and adjust if needed once your baby arrives.

Your session takes place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down, designed for your baby’s comfort. The shoot is relaxed, unrushed, and includes three digital images of your choice, all for £95. There’s no sales session—just a private online gallery where you can view and select your favourites at your own pace.
